About Us

Based in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, we began our photographic journey together in 2001. We have over 40 members, ranging in skill level from beginner to professional, who share a passion for photography. We work in all photographic mediums, from film to digital.

Meetings are held monthly on the second Tuesday of each month from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Gmeiner Art & Cultural Center in Wellsboro, PA. After a short business discussion, the featured program covers a photography-related topic, anything from composition to the latest smart phone photography. Following a break for refreshments, we have an in-depth critique of member submitted images.

Annual dues are $20 per individual, $35 per family, and $15 per student.

Critique

With the exception of a few months throughout the year, we have a monthly critique of member submitted images on a predetermined theme.

We have created a Facebook page where members in good standing can submit critique images for the forseeable future. The July Critique theme is: Patriotic

Our last critique theme was Animals. This image was submitted by member Ken Meyer and is titled Goldfinch.
